About WootDeals
WootDeals tracks every live listing on Woot and tells you whether today’s price is actually a good one.
Woot runs a lot of deals at once, and a big “% off” is only as honest as the list price behind it. We keep the price history of every listing and of every product across relistings, compare it with other US stores where we can, and turn that into a single score you can check in one glance — with the reasons shown.
How we score deals
The US Deal Score runs from 0 to 100 and is computed by fixed rules from the price data we hold and readers’ votes. No store can pay for a better score or a better position.
- Real savings (up to 35 points). We credit the discount against the highest price we have actually seen — on an earlier Woot listing, at another US store, or on Amazon — never against a list price nobody was seen charging. An item that has always sold at today’s price earns nothing here.
- Price history (up to 25). How close today’s price is to the lowest price this product has had. A product that has only ever had one price counts as neutral.
- Trend (up to 15) — is the price falling or rising — and community votes (up to 15).
- Availability (10), plus bonuses or penalties when other US stores or Amazon sell the same item for less or more. An Amazon price that is stale, far above Amazon’s own list price, or implausibly far from the Woot price is ignored.
We only show a number when there is at least one independent signal to back it. A score is shown only when the product has been listed at least twice (or its price has changed at least once), or an in-stock offer from another US merchant exists, or an Amazon price is on file. Until then the card simply shows no score.

How we make money
WootDeals is free to use. Some links to stores may be affiliate links: if you buy after following one, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Whether or not a link earns anything, it never changes which deals we list, how they are ranked or what they score — those come from the price data alone, and there is no way in our system to pay for placement.

WootDeals is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Woot, Inc. or Amazon. Product names, images and trademarks belong to their owners. Prices and stock change quickly — the store’s own page is always the final word before you buy.
Deals from readers
Readers can submit deals from supported US stores. Every submission is checked against what we already list, scored with the same rules, and reviewed by a moderator before it appears.
